Winter is here already… Dry skin is especially common, when the humidity level outside drops. When the air outside is cold and dry, the water in your skin evaporates more quickly making skin feel dry, tight & flaky.
Here are few tips to tackle skin in Winter season…..
KEEP YOURSELF HYDRATED BY DRINKING WATER!!!
We tend to drink less water in the winter because we turn to hot drinks like coffee and tea, but don’t forget that your skin needs hydration from the inside, out.
Try drinking at least 2-3litres of water a day and see changes in your skin…. Water is also used by your body to help flush out toxins and waste products and thus is significant in clearing up your skin. Likewise, if you are not indulged in drinking ample water, the toxins and bodily wastes keep on accumulating in the body and become trapped under your skin, the largest organ of your body.
APPLICATION OF OIL TO PROVIDE NOURISHMENT!!!
Do apply oil like Coconut oil, Olive oil, Grapeseed oil or Tea Tree oil depending on which is suitable for your skin at night time so it will help in nourishing skin and provide anti aging benefits as well.
DIY MASKS!!!
Make your own hydrating mask rather than purchasing expensive ones from supermarkets… I do prefer creamy texture mask which helps to absorbs and moisturize the skin.

EXFOLIATION IS KEY TO HEALTHY SKIN IN WINTER!!!
As winter approaches, your skin takes a beating with the cold air outside and hot, dry air inside. This can lead to a pileup of dead skin cells, which can make your complexion look flaky and patchy. The best way to maintain smooth skin even when the mercury drops is all about exfoliation.
How often should you exfoliate in the colder months?
You can do it once every two weeks in warmer months, but you need to up that to once a week in fall and winter.
Is it ok to do it every day?
If you exfoliate too often, as in a few times a week, your skin will become more dry and irritated.

AVOID USING FOAMING CLEANSER!!!
In winters, you can limit the number of times you wash your face from 3 times to 2 times.Try using natural ways like Raw Honey or Cold milk you can apply with cotton pads and rinse it off to prevent dryness.
AVOID HOT SHOWERS!!!
Hot shower tend to take away excess moisture from skin so avoid being in steamy room for more than 10 mins and apply a moisturizer immediately when you come out.
These all will help you to have a healthy and radiant skin these winter!!!
